They are drilled for the fatter Auto (schrader) valves but you can buy adapters to use with narrower presta valves.

Sputniks have been available drilled for either valve size.
As above, you can use a reducer to change Schrader drilling to Presta.....you can also drill out Presta to Schrader with no obvious loss of strength.

Mine were drilled for presta, so I drilled them out to Schraeder.

Rigida is now Ryde, owned by Famo NV.

http://www.ryde.nl/en/

From:http://www.ryde.nl/en/news/ryde+runs+on+research+&+development/8

"The history of RYDE International, as it is now known, goes back around a hundred years via Van Schothorst and Rigida. It started out as a forge and wheelwright in Barneveld then moved to Boxmeer, where RYDE is still located today.."

"The most recent news concerning RYDE is that it has been taken over by a Belgian company, Famo NV. Famo is represented in the cycling sector by Sapim. The acquisition of RYDE will enable Famo to expand its activities in the growing cycle segment. Both RYDE and Sapim will continue to operate independently of each other in the market and to be managed by their own management teams. "
