How reliable are they does anyone know? I use fixed as touring bike for most of my tours, though we are planning on going to India for three months in November. So is it reliable enough?

I'm happy with my s3x , done about 1800 klms in the last 15 months, no problems,
I am however thinking about pulling it apart, cleaning it and regreasing it,
the only downside I think is the drag in bottom gear. the chain lash on back pedalling
does'nt bother me as I always use the brakes slowing down.

Sounds good, I use my brakes just like you. How complicated is stripping the hub down? Any special tools needed?
