Derailleur hanger?

Postby Tomceolmhar » 1 Jul 2013, 10:31pm

Hello,

I write from Belfast to enquire if you know someone who can make a bespoke rear derailleur hanger? Mine (on a Principia RSL road bike) has sheared for the second time. On the last occasion it proved impossible to buy one off the shelf, even from a Principia dealer, and a bike shop had to have one made in England. However I do not live close to that bike shop, so am now trying to source one myself. I have the broken one – in two parts – so could send it to be copied.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks,

Tom

Be afraid......be very afraid.....http://wheelsmfg.com/2013-laminated-wall-chart.html

last time I knew, Madison were the UK importers....ie. every shop that does Shimano (doesn't rule many out) can get all of those.

"Directly in the menu bar above, under hangers, you will find over 200 different bicycle manufacturers and see our complete list of hangers and dropouts.

If you don't find your model, or you are unsure, just send us pictures from the hanger (best both sides) by Email. Please have a look at our FAQ.

We ship our hangers worldwide."

Also try BETD: they have a lot of aftermarket hangers (including rare road ones like for Alan frames)

There's no such thing as a tailwind.
It's either a headwind, or you're going well.
