my battery charger seems to have given up the ghost from my `tumble and fall` lights I know I can get one from Evans or other stockists for about £40 but is there anything that`ll do the job cheaper? :( one upside is my commute is getting lighter now the days are longer :)

Evans is £36 at the moment: http://www.evanscycles.com/categories/a ... tAodVycAEg Two chargers, not sure which suits your lights or if there is actually any difference between them.

In terms of finding anything cheaper you need to look at the info on the charger.

Matching the input should be simple enough, matching the output could be trickier (xV, ymA). If you can find something with the same output details it will also need the same socket fitting or you'll need to purchase/make a suitable adapter.

How long have you had it? Aren't all electrical appliances supposed to keep functioning for 1 year or is it now 2 years otherwise you can request a replacement?

Seen the USB ones don't suppose they'd be any good...

Those are some pretty crazy prices for what are almost certainly rebranded DealExtreme lights.

The charger looks the same as this one, no? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00D ... 4PPJZ8PBAZ

Some people will pay more for peace of mind and a UK warranty, but the fact the charger has failed anyway doesn't inspire confidence in the more expensive product either.
