Thanks conrad, tho me and electrics go together like qpr and the league of greed.

I daren,t open it up. I see bike discount are selling them for £62. I may buy and haggle with b&m when i return from tour. I dont have time on my hands, depart uk june 21.

Interesting points you made about cable length, also coloured wires.
