I have broke 4 spokes this year on the rear wheel of my Brompton T3. 3 were on the drive side of the wheel and one on the other side.
Has anybody found a solution to this as it seems to be a common problem with Bromptons?

Re:Brompton broken spokes
Davy,
I have never suffered a broken spoke on my Brompton. I suggest you e-mail David and Jane Henshaw at <atob@onetel.com>, editors of the excellent A to B magazine (I recommend you try it). They are the independent experts on Bromptons; they ride them too!

Re:Brompton broken spokes
See the 'Broken and loose spokes' thread further down this section of the board. CJ posted a technical explanation of this, in response to my question (I've also had this problem).
My only solution is to try and keep the wheel well tensioned, avoid rough terrain, and become expert at replacing Brompton rear spokes!

Re:Brompton broken spokes
Thanks for the advice. I have decided to buy a wheel jig and take up the black art of wheel building.
