gaz's day trip to find the truth.

Postby gaz » 15 Jul 2016, 11:13am

Sometimes the best way to find the real answers is to get out on your bike, explore and report your findings to the forum.

So I decided it was time to go to the World's End and see what it's like. I reckoned that the trip would best be made in summer as I'm told it gets a bit nippy towards the end of the year. First step was to catch the boat.

Embarking on the Magellan

The journey was much shorter than I'd expected. Having disembarked I set off and it wasn't long before I found what I'd come to see.

As I explored a little further it became clear that the Wall has been there a long time and it's been added too over the years.

There you have it folks, there really is a Wall at the World's End.

There was a clear military presence in the area.

The insignia suggest it is British teritory, claimed by Charles II.

I could tell you what's on the other side of the wall but from what I've read I'd probably be locked up, shot or something worse  .

You didn't find an apostrophe at the world's end.
I wonder why? Maybe they'd all been used up that far away.

BTW, there was a strong military presence at this place when I was there.

Did it occur to you as strange how may abandoned bikes there were over there?
I'm not asleep. God wrote my instructions on the back of my eyelids.
