Didn't see this thread before.

Trouble was, our previous washing machine used to act up like that when doing a normal wash :D . Luckily, its replacement is a bit more well-behaved...
Suppose that this room is a lift. The support breaks and down we go with ever-increasing velocity.
Let us pass the time by performing physical experiments...

People have been lobbing bricks into washing machines and posting the results for donkeys!

Odd, I wouldn't have thought that donkeys took much interest in that sort of thing.
