I don't know what all the fuss is about.
Three Everests this morning and I'm not even a little bit out of breath.

Were they short of names, had to use the same one again and again?
May one petition for the names to be corrected to 'Chomolungma'?

So what is the connection? Did the man Everest come from the area?

Re: Everesting
Perhaps built in 1953? Is there a Hillary Rise close by?
Re: Everesting
These particular examples are a little random. Everest Drive could well be 50's but seems to have some older terraced cottages too. Everest Mews looks more recent, probably utilising some brown-field site and taking a derivative name from Everest Drive. No other nearby roads have related names.
Everest Lane is some four miles from the other two and begins with a small row of Victorian terrace cottages before becoming a hotch-potch of dwellings as it climbs the hill. Again there are no related road names nearby.
Another eight miles would have seen me at Everest Close, which is off of Tensing Avenue with Hillary Avenue nearby. Maybe another time.
