Giant 225MTB

Post by NUKe »

Around 12 years ago I bought a bike for my daughter, A Giant 225 MTB with 24 inch wheels, I managed to convince her she didn’t need a pink one, And she was quite happy with Blue, The reason for buying the bike it was light had small brake levers and cranks, most importantly no suspension so was properly proportioned and at the time I couldn’t afford an Isla and no one was selling second-hand. She rode it quite a lot riding it to school and trips to the swimming pool and day rides with myself. Once it got too small, I hadn’t it onto her brother, who loved it just as much, to the point where we did a couple of mini tours, he was eventually bribe off of it with the promise of a new bike and his brother had his turn for the next three years. Until it really was too small and the third child was given a full size MTB. Yesterday my Nephew who is six took it over, and is out enjoying it today it was never seen as a hand me down

Wonderful story, true joy!
I keep all my kids' bikes, too.
You never know when they'll come in handy.
