[Centre Parcs] Registering bikes?

It seems you need to register bikes at check-in. Anyone know what that’s about?

I suspect it’s not that (though I did think the person that took a carbon Transition Spider to CP then left it tied up with a cable lock was… brave)

The CP bikes are interesting.

All seem to be the same apart from the branding (Haro last time we were here, Forme now). Are they done to tender or something?
