Cycling siblings

Post by julie.rand »

Do you ride with one or more of your siblings? What are the benefits and potential drawbacks? Do your children ride happily together? Were you taught to cycle by one of your brothers or sisters? I'm writing an article for Cycling UK around this topic, which is very relevant now many households are riding more often together rather than with friends or cycling clubs so would be very interested to hear your experiences. Please contact me julie.rand@cyclinguk.org asap if you are happy to be quoted and/or share some images of you cycling with a sibling.

Thanks very much.

No such thing as a quiet gentle potter with my brother, it's first up the hill, him, and first down the other side, me, and always take your 'brave pills' before a mountain bike ride. We wouldn't have it any other way, oh and by the way I'm 74 and he is 70.
