What's this stand-like thing under bottom bracket ?

Post by wizzie »

Hi guys, just got my first ebike, its an E-Plus City Folder from Argos, a very good bike, easy to ride, but there is a part on it (which is not show in the instruction book).
Any one know what it is, and what its used for?

Thanks
Wizzie

It's a folding bike.
When you fold it that stand will be in front of the wheels and you should be able to use it to stand the bike up.

Thanks for that, I think they should have explained that in the instruction book.

NP.

I have a folder I use for train journeys, looks like a normal bike and if I had a pound for every cyclist that asked me what the bit sticking out of the bottom bracket was... ;)

When you fold it up do you have to carry it 22Kg ?
Or can you wheel it?
