Should I buy Oxydrive kit?

Post by Grahamkfisk »

Hello everyone!
I am thinking of buying this oxydrive ebike kit on ebay... what do people think? Is it a good kit to get?
Its listed as '250w ebike conversion kit + 36v 13ah battery relisted'.

The amount of choices is somewhat baffling!
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

A baffling array of choices but there's only one you want our opinion on :? .

I have seen that kit as well though not interested. like to keep an eye on what's available.
It uses the bafang hub motor, new kits usually cost £5- 600 so it would be reasonable if you get if for under £250 but don't get carried away bidding. As with all used kits the big iffy is the battery and how it has bee looked after and used. The actual mileage is low but depends how old the kit is ?

The cells in the battery are ok but nothing special though are genuine Samsung low amp rated cells.
I have the Oxydrive rear cst kit from early 2015 and the batteries have lost some capacity I used to get 45 miles range but now down to 30-35 range.
