e bike battery

Post by patd »

I would be very grateful for any assistance with the following:

I have a Kalkhoff Pro Connect e bike but the battery has failed. I have dismantled the battery (only 4 screws) and the printed circuit board by the connecting pins has burn damage but the actual cells seem fine. 50 Cycles (the importer and agent) are only interested in selling a new battery but one reason the people buy such bikes is to get away from the throw away attitude that much of society has.

Is anyone on this forum aware of either a source of second hand batteries or knowledge of any company that can repair? Thanks in advance.

How old?
