small switch to cut motor when changing gear

Post by willcee »

Hemo et al, my bso2 kit is fitted, except battery, my research has indicated that many have issues while changing gears up the cassette, seems it will be better going to the smaller sprockets, i know that some wizard in eastern Europe has developed a dongle which you feed the gear inner wire through which momentarily cuts motor power when shifting, ok i think.. can i use the brake interrupter to do the same thing with a micro switch underside of the bars..i don't need brake items[very little town traffic cycling] nor could i fit them to drop bar sti levers.. whats your thoughts on a small switch akin to what the pros use on di2 when sprinting to change gears.. will

Reason I asked was to circumvent that option, so I bought micro switches in the ailing Maplin today, 2 of ... less than 2 quid, ''I'll have a lash''.. as the Crocodile man would say.. will
