Not sure how efficient the charger is, probably reasonably so. A 500wh battery is 1/2 hwh,. Typical domestic cost is around 15p per kwh (unit), maybe a bit less; that gives 7.5p per charge. 15ah 36v battery would be 150wh, around 8.5p.

Typically my often used battery doesn't see a deep SOC probably 50 or 60% then I top it up.
When I plug my battery in to charge my smart meter tells me the kw/h price has gone up by 1p so I use this as pence per hour rate for my charging as charge for me typically is 4 -7hrs depending on SOC.

finally got back down to York https://www.electricbikesales.co.uk/ for our test rides ... for me it was the Supercharger GX rohloff midnight blue ....and for my partner after her problems with her haibikes(getting on and off) she picked the Nevo GH vario red and with 26" wheels and also the dual battery ....here poss the middle-end march.... expensive day out but still cant wait ...my partner is still in shock..

That’s a heck of a lot of nice bike, I wish I could afford one.
What’s the estimated range, must be 100 miles at least I would think?

The Vennbahn map I just got from http://www.ostbelgien.eu shows e-bike charging points along the route. I've also seen "e-tap" charging point next to bike parking in some Dutch towns (definitely Middelburg - they're the green pillars in https://mapstreetview.com/#unto1_25iq3_7i.p_-7j41 ).

thanks it still not arrived yet but range is estimated at 100+ but there are lots of factors that its almost hard to say terrain/ weight(bags)
riders weight /wind .... the hiabike sduro 7.0 that I have ATM I get about 80+ miles https://www.strava.com/activities/1674661789 this route was 70 and still had miles left but I am a fit old stick

Just completed my first tour on recently-acquired Bianchi Impulso e-Road. It has a touring-bike setup with drop bars and fixings for mudguards and rear rack. The battery is detachable, so you can take it into your hotel room for overnight charging.

This was band-b touring - carrying everything on the bike, but staying in hotels, so no camping gear. Hardest day was 106km with 1245m of climbing. The battery had at least 25% capacity left at the end of that, and I wasn't actively trying to save it. In less hilly terrain the range is much greater. I'm very pleased with it so far.

I've usually managed to change my batteries when cycle camping for nothing (or donation to charity) or buying a meal.

On a recent Whitehaven to Newcastle trip when stopped near CarIsle I had to pay for charging via the little coin operated machine. £2 per hour for three hours.

Fortunately the next stop left my battery in the locked laundry overnight and it cost nothing
