Nothing new here with Halfords and trial rides - I sell electric bikes in my shop (and all sorts of others) - a test ride is encouraged for any bike ... as long as it isn't raining! 3 test rides today and bikes sold.
The 48 hour trial is a bit of a con as it's only at a very few selected stores ... and from feedback isn't encouraged at store level.

Cheers for the heads up. I thoroughly enjoyed trying the e-Vulcan, surprisingly decent bike. Didn't buy it though, but can see myself doing so eventually. If I still worked though I'd have bought it as my commuter.
