Another Orbea question

Postby Grandad » 23 Jul 2019, 9:38pm

The only built in control is the button which cycles through low-medium and high power and off. Lots of additional facilities through a smartphone
but I don't have one.

Is there any other way to check the state of the battery - this is the only thing I would really need to know.

I thought Orbea used a phone app for viewing some parameters.

Yes, but I do not have a smartphone to use an app, hence my question is there any other way to find the battery level.

The button that controls the on/off and 3 power levels changes colour - white with 100 down to 75%, green 75 down to 50, amber 50 down to 25, red 25 down to zero. From experience with mine (I don't bother with the app stuff) the indicator lights give a reasonable result based on the mileage/motor usage on the ride.

Thanks Rob. That clinches my decision to buy one.
