Best Value Folding Ebike
Re: Best Value Folding Ebike
Certainly look at Woosh; https://wooshbikes.co.uk, especially https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?rambletta Actually quite a bit below your budget; but you will get a thoroughly decent bike, good advice and good customer service. Only trouble is its mail order unless you are close to Southend.
Whisper 806 is another one to look at. https://wisperbikes.com/e-bikes/clearance-bikes/
It depends a lot on how you expect to use it (your weight, height, how far you'll go, how hilly, whether any off road, and how much you might need to carry it around). Do remember that most ebikes that quote range assume very best conditions; for many you'll be lucky to get 1/2 of what they quote, often even only 1/3. Even if you aren't going for a Bosch driven bike, Bosch Range Assistant gives a good idea of how range change with various parameters (https://www.bosch-ebike.com/en/service/range-assistant/). Change from flat minimal assistance good roads good weather to hilly poor roads in bad weather and fairly high assistance. Just did a quick go changing only things on the 'environment' tab (inclduing assistance from eco to sport) and it went from 108 miles to 19 miles.
