C-UK Insurance Cover?

C-UK Insurance Cover?

Just popped into my head. Does the C-UK insurance cover riding an electric assist bike? (UK legal 250W assist cut out at 25kph etc).

This was something I checked before I bought my ebike. It struck me that the FAQ could be a bit more specific about chipped ebikes. I assume they would not be covered on public roads as they would be illegal, but would they be covered on private land, etc?
