I have seen many battery boys cycluing with multiple layersx to keep warm, and always in bright yellow.Does tghis mean there is an element of drag for the wearers?

wearing multiple layers of gloves when typing can result in adjacent keys being simultaneously pressed.

Sometimes turning off the battery and pedalling without assistance instead can warm you up a bit

Only if they are cross dressing

Re: Keeping Warm
My wife and I were out this morning both on our bikes. NON ebikes. Our Ebikes were left in the garage.
It is rather nippy so we were suitably dressed with gloves and scarves etc. It was only a 15 mile trip to a local garden centre in the country. Being sunny and a beautiful morning there were many other folk out on their bikes. Some even on Ebikes. Gosh whatever next? However all of us had very similar attire on.
Just thought I would mention this.

A long time since I saw someone cycling with a scarf. The occasion was when that Mp fellout with plod https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Mitchell
Re: Keeping Warm
A scarf is a very efficient means of regulating temperature control. Being a very experienced mountain walker , having trekked all over the world, the Alps, Himalayas and the Andes I have always had a scarf in my pack. Also whilst riding a bike it can serve a similar purpose. Even an Ebike!
