Torque sensor jerky

Hey guys, I have a Easy Motion EVO 29er and I have noticed that in the lower assist settings the engagement of the motor is kinda jerky. Not sure if that is normal but if feels much smoother in the higher two assist settings. When peddling, I know I am putting more force on the peddle on the first half of the rotation and less force on the second half but it would be nice to get smother engagement of the motor. Any suggestions?
