Saris carrier

Post by roberts8 »

I am looking at step through ebike for my wife. I use a two bike rear carrier for my 13 kilo tourer so was wondering if an ebike without battery would be fine on a hanging carrier. The towbar option is very pricey. Maybe just hire at destination if it won't work.

I bought a Saris Bones individual carrier to carry my Orbea Gain. Around 14kg 'bare'. I was going to remove the wheels and carry them in the car as most of the extra weight is in the hub motor. Having said that, I have yet to use it!
