Front wheel motor - pros and cons
Re: Front wheel motor - pros and cons
Most that can be bought as new that have the round Julet 9 pin motor wire. Three thick pins are phase and six are hall related wires, one of these being the speed sensor. Three are motor halls and the other two are 5v & Gnd supply.
The Aikema's sold by topbikekit.
Bafang G3XX series.
The yose power hub in their kits.
The factor in how many other sensored peripheral's are needed such as brake sensors is dependant on the control system used and the PAS overrun that system has , the better ones like the KT have undetectable PAS over run. If a brake sensor is needed then only one needs to be fitted to the rear brake usually, fitting two is silly because if one develops a fault the other won't work any way so it's a waste of time being fitted and just causes conflict when fault finding.
