Scott/brose software update

Post by Ciaran »

Decathlon have hooked my Scott e-silence speed 20 up for diags and confirm control, motor, and battery all good. Replaced my speed sensor but motor still only assists sporadically. They can't update the software as they say Scott have blocked them and I need to go to a Scott dealer. Finding one of these near Sheffield seems to lead to dead ends on Scott's own site. Anyone got any recommendations for dealers/mechanic in/near South Yorkshire? Bit fed up having a £3k bike that doesn't work. Ps JE James who sold it to me have been useless and no longer stock Scott/brose so that's another dead end.

CycleGear aka Uk Bikes Depot in Halifax stock some Scott electric mountain bikes. They might be able to help.
Bit of a journey but they are close to the railway station if you want to let the train take the strain!
