The Netherlands really needs to be experienced from a bike seat. I went over last year with our local cycling group, the first time I'd ridden there since the 1980s. I was bowled over by how good the cycling infrastructure was as how drivers behaved around cyclists. Back in 1988 (the last time I'd ridden there) the network was slightly better than ours is now. It's now a world apart. Apart from a few maintenance issues there was little I would want to improve.
I'm a trendy consumer. Just look at my GT-S7275R using hovercraft full of eels.
