IAN 195/16 e-learning.

Post by gaz »

I've just been introduced to this: https://cycletraffic-elearning.com/

Looks like a useful way to learn what's in the guidance, much more engaging than the document itself.

Good spot.

It's like a look in to a parallel universe where there are high levels of Clue about cycling that one might expect to be applied to highways in England... (but at least it's good to know that there is Clue in there, even if it's taking its time filtering through).

Edited to add... it's such a weird place that they even use civilised units of measurement!

I thought this was a well deserved effort and worthy of praise.

I love the SI units of measurement (m kg s etc) but until such time as the UK switches over from mph to km/h they should probably stick to UK units otherwise confusion (like the crashed mars lander) reigns.

Good package - having got most of the answers right !
Pity HIghways England can't take over all the roads. I have had local highways engineer refer to1.5m cycle lanes as "wide" !!!

Judging by some of the potholes I've notified to Highway England their maintenance (and attitude to the general public) leaves a lot to be desired!
