Some years ago I was sworn at loud and long by a young man when I stopped for a red light. I knew he was behind and braked gently when the light first changed to give him warning. Even so he was most indignant  .

You should have told them where to mind their own business.

It is up to every cyclist to decide their own red light policy.

Off subject but like you to I hope kwackers is ok and gets back on here soon as I have owned on subjects several times.
Back on subject yep they would of got a few expletives from me if they'd confronted me like that.

Best to ignore angry PoBs just like angry motons

Probably only on a bike because they are serving a driving ban for the same sort of behaviour.

It certainly is, trees are blowing all over the place, quite a storm last night too. Feels like autumn here.

With a disappointing outcome for them if that was the case.
A pity Kwackers wasnt around he might have provided the sort of RLJing support that would have made things entertaining, rather than a boring bunch like us who just dont do the RLJing thing (unlike motorists  ) and have a pretty dim view of those who expect it of others, either through abuse (from other cyclists) or by having a 1.5 tonne car ram up your buttock* because you stopped for the red but it hadnt been red long enough for your average driver to stop for.

*I typed something different but the forum put that word in its place.
