Brid has been full of frustrated drivers for weeks as roadworks have been ongoing, with some one way roads doing an about face for the duration - I was on that corner last week when one of those giant motorhomes turned right into Bridge St, going the wrong way - he got about 30yds & had to reverse out.
I expect Mr Pickup was on the phone or texting as is normal in Brid.

I personally don't mind the distribution in Bridlington if the end result is worth it.

Unfortunately, the roads seem to be worse and more dangerous now.

All that money invested, all that time spent and they totally mess it up.

Considering Bridlington hosted the start of Tour de Yorkshire, it's an embarrassment.

I fear someone will be injured or worse

The load being carried by the pickup looked a tad illegal to me - all that overhang and no warning devices ...
