Percussive maintainance, if it don't fit, hit it with the hammer.
Re: Missing cyclist off the A82
29th September! It doesn't sound good.
Re: Missing cyclist off the A82
............ so where is he?
Where's his bike?
Could he have veered off and into the loch?

Re: Missing cyclist off the A82
Hopefully he may have decided to ride off road. Fingers crossed.
Re: Missing cyclist off the A82
He was reported at Bridge of Orchy at about 1030 PM according to one report. Heading for Tillicoultry apparently where he lived. Cycling overnight? Not heard anything else so far.
Re: Missing cyclist off the A82
Looking at the possible routes home from where he was last seen there are countless locations where he might have felt drowsy and left the road to seek shelter in a bit of forestry. I imagine that is the scenario that is considered most likely, with the poor bloke falling victim to exposure.

Unfortunately he could lie undiscovered for a long time in a random bit of forest.

A cheery thread.
Re: Missing cyclist off the A82
He was well past Rannoch Moor when last seen at the Green Wellie shop presumably on the traffic cameras there. Otherwise needle and haystack pretty much sums it up.

Sadly unfortunately not, I've been checking the BBC news Scotland and not seen anything. It would be nice to know one way or another.

a quick edit ~I've emailed the BBC to see if we can get an update

Re: Missing cyclist off the A82
As has been said further up thread he could be difficult to find even after a very small accident close to the road. About a year ago a local (likely over the limit) driver died when he drove into a wooded roundabout. It's a really busy roundabout, junction of the A1/A68 but his car/body wasn't found for a week.
