Cycling Safety Research ( Student Survey )

Post by Smiththud »

This survey request has been checked by Graham.

Hi All,

I’m a current final year student at the University of Huddersfield studying Product Design. My major project is related to cyclist safety and I’d be very grateful if I could have your help collecting some research through a questionnaire.
I’ve created it in google docs so you will be able to access it quickly. All of the feedback is anonymous; the only people that will see this information is myself, external examiners and the staff at the University of Huddersfield, the findings of this research will not be published.

Cycling Safety Questionnaire: https://goo.gl/forms/dWAzU7MvLvpER8q32

Many thanks, any contribution is greatly appreciated.

Cannot do question 4 as every answer is a correct one for me.
It all depends on where and when I cycle.
Cycling in the town or countryside makes a big difference in how much traffic I see and if I cycle at 4am I'll see almost no traffic even in town.

It's similar to question 6 with the number of pedestrians, that also varies from ride to ride depending on where and when.
But at least I can pick every answer.

Luck .......... :D

I agree that the Questionnaire doesn't give options for type or distance cycled but it does give the opportunity to leave comments on how it may be improved.
Happy to help any student :D

If you want more responses, I'm sure you'll get some if you post this on the "Public Transport and Cycling" forum on MoneySavingExpert.com.

I don't think new users can post links, so I'm happy to make a thread with a link to your survey if you like.

Better questions than many surveys.
