been down this way recently?

if not then i drove it late last friday night. there are some huge potholes right where you don't want them - i dread to think of the consequences if a rider were to hit one of those at the sort of speeds the descent can generate. beware!

Thanks for the heads up - I went up last week and did have to dodge some holes (and snow drifts). Planning on a double pass in next couple of weeks, might have to do Holme instead of Woodhead!
Convention? what's that then?
