Managed my third 1000 mile+ month in a row with a total so far of 5550 which is a bit over 30 miles a day.
Let's hope the good weather continues.

I got off to a rather poor start this year due to the snow, frequent gales and the usual 4 weeks away in February. Now up to 4786 so hopefully back on target for 10,000 miles again this year.

Hi,
Like others here I am not even meeting 10 miles a day.

So I won't embarrass myself by saying how little I have done.

Maybe start a post with the title "How Many Miles A Day" whatever.

We're only at the half way point, plenty of time to catch up, just switch off the computer and get out there

Making the most of the good weather, I'm well ahead. I've done 2850 miles so far this year and I've averaged 175 miles a week for the last 7 weeks. Longest ride was 128 miles and biggest week was 267 miles.

After last years 17 miles/day target, simply because it made the year 10,000km, I decided this year should be 20 miles/day. Ticking along nicely at the moment on 4135 miles, but still surprises me just how hard it is to maintain a daily mileage rate. Only a few days off and you're a long way behind, so I'm making the most of the nice weather.

So that's another month passed, all that hot weather! Longest day 155km (96 mi), most climbed 1,990m (6,529ft), 11 days over 1,000m (3,281ft) climbed and 11 metric centuries! The riding-est month of the year so far as our colonial cousins might say.

I've not had any unscheduled days off for a third month which is pretty good - maybe I should've stayed in doors once or twice to keep out of the heat!

So it was 1,680km (1,040 mi) for the month with 18,235 metres (59,826ft) climbed over 17 ride days. That gives a ride average of 97km (60 mi) with 1,073m (3,520ft) of ascent.

For the year to date i'm at 9,101km (5,655 mi) with 102,110m (335,006ft) over 95 days, an average of 96km (60mi) and 1,075m (3,527ft) climbed. Overall after 212 days it's 43km (26.7mi) with 482m (1,581ft) so i'm well ahead on the year!

Still can't work out how some people manage to do my ytd numbers over a single month?

So where are the rest of you at?

Going along nicely at 5797 miles despite being away and so no cycling :( for the whole of February. Missed Sunday's ride because of very strong winds (don't mind the rain) but managed to sneak an extra ride in on Monday instead.

Not the best month for me, the heat and spending two weeks working away from home put a dent in it. I packed on the one Audax I rode and didn't even start the other I'd entered. So - 211 miles Audax, 219 CTC rides and 90 utility., a total of 520 for the month. I'll see where August takes me.

Still just meeting my target of riding 100 miles every month, usually only just making it, ridden a few more miles the last two months and ridden 100 miles today to get them in for August as school holidays so I don't get out as much. Route was a little short and I didn't get lost like usual so had to do some loops around nearby streets to get over 100. Still need to ride more regularly though, even if it's only for a short ride. I might have the rest of August off now which isn't the best idea.
