The old saying "build it and they will come" is applicable here.
I know so many people that want to cycle but feel scared of mixing with traffic. If anything like this was built in my town, all the people I am talking about would be using it and leaving their cars at home, therefore allowing more space for "slob-mobiles" ( Josie Dew's word for cars not mine ).
I'm always amazed how car drivers spend most of their road time in traffic jams and yet complain about the nanosecond they wait for a cyclist.
As most things in life today , it's totally out of whack with actual reality.
Cycle ways ( in London ) are a waste of Space?
