My least favourite junction.

This junction is one I negotiate a lot because it connects otherwise attractive bits of road close to my home, but it always makes me feel tense. Going across the staggered junction, traffic coming from the left can be doing 50mph and you have a very poor sight line. Traffic from the right can be doing 60mph but you get a better view. I rely partly on my hearing for this junction. A deaf person would be at even more risk.

There are a few. Just off the top of my head, there's one south of Menheniot station where the road to Looe crosses the A38 dual carriageway.

There's a speed camera on the A38 in attempt to slow the traffic to 70mph past there.

I can't call this a real least favourite as I've only used it once but it did strike me as potentially dodgy. Crossing the B road in this direction you come uphill and join the main road in a dip with very limited visibility in both directions.

That's in my neck of the woods and I agree, not great. Many of the roads around Carterton and Brize Norton are pretty dodgy for cycling, sadly.

My least favourites are two staggered crossings of the A40 nearby: https://goo.gl/maps/ZGyaXHzzbRU2 and https://goo.gl/maps/tYcMGYFt4912 . Sheer weight and speed of traffic, and though the first one does have a centre turn lane, it's pretty intimidating sitting there with the lorries thundering by.

Going up Church Street in Malvern and turning right is steep and difficult, fortunately there is a fork left by the PO, that is nearly level at the junction and much easier

Any junction with a stop sign!

I've used both of those as well, but again, only once! I found the first one to be no problem at all, but I think I was just lucky (and I was using it in the "downhill" direction, which helps). The second (which in fact I think I might have used a couple of times) I do remember being a problem, simply because of the volume of traffic; had to weight a long time till it was clear. TBH, it would be similar in a car as well, I think.

Edit: I forgot to say that the only reason I was using the junction I initially mentioned was because I'd previously ridden along that B road and found it, in addition to being surprisingly "rolling", one of the busier and more unpleasant B roads.

It shouldn't be a problem, but the all red phase of the lights is too short so I don't have time to clear the junction by the time the traffic turning left from the oncoming road gets a green light.

Well its ancient history now but the standout terror junction was 20 years ago while doing evening time trials in Kent. The turn was a full circuit of the roundabout of junction 11 on the M20. I hope they have found an alternative by now.

I don't like busy uphill multi lane entry roundabouts because I'll always get someone undertaking/overtaking/cutting me up.

But the most dangerous for me are downhill entry roundabouts with bad sight lines because I'll want to keep as much speed as possible around it. Whereas I'm willing to slow down a lot more for a give way line at a T/X road with the same sight lines. It's something about going around a roundabout at speed on a bent trike that just makes me .....

There must be plenty of junctions not being listed here because people have learnt to avoid them like the plague, even if it means significant detours.

Heading straight on, see that little build-out on the left, just by the side-road? Perfectly positioned so that, as you cycled forward once the lights had changed, cars had just enough time to overtake and then trap you. The only safe way to do it was to take primary all the way, which was always a fairly fraught experience given the hooting neanderthals of Burton. (They've now taken out the build-out, thankfully.)

A120 Galleys Corner (AKA McDonalds roundabout). The casual crossings are as bad as the roundabout itself. Alternatives for people who live or work south (Tye Green, Cressing, etc.) are miles out of the way.

It's usually busy when I use it. There are cycle lanes on 3 of the 4 roads adjioning the junction, so the most efficient way to cross it is to go as a vehicle in primary. But there are also shared use facilities all the way around the junction and drivers seem to either think I am using them, or that I should. And while doing so isn't too bad on a standard bike, it is with a trailer. Also, Trailer is too wide to cycle comfortably within the cycle lanes, so drivers honk at me for that, too.

It's nowhere near as bad as any of my least favorite junctions in the UK, but I think my tolerance for poor infrastructure is deteriorating
