Which audax?

Post by honesty »

My next allowed audax weekend is the weekend of the 23rd of June. There’s 2 audaxes on near me I’m interested in and can’t decide which one to do, the Randonnée and the Mendip Transmitter. I did the Randonnée last year so know the route, but have no experience with the Mendip transmitter ride. Which one would you go for?

Yep
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Both :D
One on sat and one on Sunday.

Seriously, I would do the mendip transmitter. It's a good route. Depending on where you are coming from could be suitable for an ECE.
