Any cycle-related photos taken recently (no bikes allowed)?

Post by tim-b »

Hi
Starter for ten, I took a photo of this (ex-)shop today. A couple of CTC winged wheels on the wall; the sign above the door is a Raleigh Approved (or Authorised, can't remember  ) green-enamelled sign

Born under the sign.

P.S. I think this post would be more suitable in the Tea Shop section.

I like taking photos of railway tracks without trains, sometimes just one or two lines, or the perfect geometry of a double slip or a marshalling yard with ladders of points
Can't post photos from my smartphone

There are some famous *images* of the curved crossings at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, or the station throat at King's Cross or Paddington..

Not Church Street in Malvern I think , which Church Street is it, how many are there? I bet there are some with no church. Or with more than one

+1 for this unusual thread idea

I'm assuming that it was parked there to scrape up the cyclists who were forced to use the road :?

Just open the back doors and ride right in
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.

Hi
@MA
Have you considered changing the wording on your helmet?
"Cask" on one side and "Cake" on the other (menu-dependent)? :D
I like the shirt photo too

Hi
Cycled to Meriden today; I'd always thought that WW1 was 1914-1918, but some Googling tells me that the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919, and that the official end was 1920. Every day's a school day :)
A few metres away stands a 500 year-old cross marking the Centre of England. OS calculated in 2002 that the geographical centre was actually 11 miles further north; cue lots of arguments
