That's it I reckon, looks like he finished about 21:25 or so. Around 15.5 hrs for the run

Beat the record by a good margin. Well done. Hope he remembers to turn the e-motor off!!

A14 toward Thetford must have been fun, not!
Great effort and good weather for it too.

Good going, hope the following wind continues and there are not so many lumpy bits on the final run in to Gt Yarmouth.

There must surely be many routes for transiting 'this sceptred isle' of ours, other than JOGLE. Has anyone done Cape Wrath to Dover, say? Is it viable?
Suppose that this room is a lift. The support breaks and down we go with ever-increasing velocity.
Let us pass the time by performing physical experiments...

There is an organisation called the Cape Wrath Fellowship.

Some info here in the comic if you can bother with all the cookie settings.

The Road Records Association (RRA) used to have more place-to-place records (none including Cape Wrath) but many had London as either the start or finish, which has become increasingly untenable. eg There used to be London - York which simply involved bashing up the A1 which wasn't as loony as it sounds today. IIRC from my far-off youth, Owen Blower took that record and his attempt was the first to be timed to the second, rather than the minute.

Not much on the internet about Owen Blower but it looks as though he's still active with the Leicestershire Road Club.
