Yes, he does look a little wind-burned, doesn't he? (That's frostbite on his chin.) The toughest stretch, he says, was cycling over the Rocky Mountains in the depths of a Canadian winter. I can see that it would be :shock:

One of my friends, whose daughter was the young man's classmate in high school, describes him as "a really nice kid".

Maybe there's hope for humanity after all.
