Kernow flag - for the separatists among the county (i.e. those with a spare 'r'( ;)
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

If those Cornish rebels do start an armed bid for independence it will be easy to pick them off if they are all wearing targets.

Streetview has been done only once down our way and a couple of the people seen on it are now dead. it is quite poignant to see them there, going about their business.

Not for the first time either, a few years earlier on the bike (since deleted :? ) and twice before that as a ped.

My top is from Foska.

Excellent quality stuff.

I would have liked the Marmite one, but the rear side says "hate" on it. Not a nice word to use so I won't buy it. "dislike" would have been a better word, but I like jams! Blackcurrant is my favourite.

Gibbet Hill.

Very interesting history.
Tavistock is a Stannary Town in that it was a centre for precious metals - mainly copper, silver, and tin - to be bought and sold. There was loads of money going back and forth up the turnpike north of the town (present A386) and highwaymen prowled the moor and attacked the stagecoaches and broke into the strong-boxes.

When caught, they would be tried in Tavistock and hanged, then gibbeted up on the hill above Mary Tavy for months on end as an example to any would-be highwaymen and as a demonstration of justice to the law-abiding travellers.

I think the jams they were referring to were the traffic variety! :? 8)
