A two parter really:
#1 How in the name of J.K. Starley did the appalling CS1 qualify as a Cycleway? It's a meandering collection of motor vehicle infested rat-runs with a few bicycle symbols painted on the tarmac. Compared to the (few) direct, protected cycleways its total rubbish.
#2 How can we get it either fixed or rebuilt elsewhere (the A10) as a decent and useable bit of infrastructure?

I suspect part of the answer to #1 is Vincent Stops.
If so, then the answer to #2 is very dodgy.

Re: A London question
As a Londoner now in exile in the home counties, when I cycle in London it always strikes me how chaotic it is. Narrow streets, lots of parked cars, vehicles unloading. I'm not surprised there are so many casualties.
