I'm a Browning 9mm user over many years, never got on with the Glock, i've got big hands and found the Walther problematic in rapid fire ... always thigh holsters. Never concealed.

, however the developers and councils seem to be on a mission to turn Norfolk into 'little Essex'

And happening quicker that anyone ever thought it would. Almost every small village in Norfolk is now destined to become a small town.

I am thinking of a catapault and ball bearings. Tried it on the local squirrels that have been after my bird feeders and my goodness it jumped turning this way and that what had hit it

His bike should not have been stolen regardless of where he left it.
Indeed. In the '50's the thought of a bike lock wouldn't have crossed my mind. I would have just left my bike at a convenient spot and not given theft a thought. Similarly at school there were hundreds of bikes on racks or stands all unlocked.

How our society has changed, at least in my experience. :(

on the subject of him not being allowed to take his bike in

My wife and i visited the Minster while at Southwell last week and took turns to go in rather than chain the bikes up. A guide suggested we bring the bikes into the cathedral, which was exceptionally accomodating of her , but so far out of our experience that we just could not do it.
