Just circulating some news, but has everyone heard about this one?
A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after she was found with serious injuries on a lane after apparently being knocked off her bike.
Now, with the woman still fighting for her life in hospital, police are appealing for a motorcyclist who may be able to shed light on the incident.
Mystery surrounds what happened to the woman, who was discovered by members of the public lying in the road near Portbury Docks, on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at around 11.30am on Tuesday morning, and the woman has been critically ill in hospital since.
A police spokesperson said her injuries are ‘consistent with a collision or fall', and added that she is not missing any of her personal items.
“Police are grateful to members of the public who quickly came to her aid,” she said. “Officers are particularly keen to speak with a motorcyclist believed to have been using the path at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
“He is described as a white man in his late fifties or early sixties, of stocky build, with grey hair and a grey beard. The bike was described as ‘old’ and possibly light grey,” she added.
