GB Divide - End to End gravel
Re: GB Divide - End to End gravel
Lachlan Morton (EF professional) rode the inaugural event.
There is a report on his ride in the Sept 2019 "Cyclist".
Good luck - it looks hard - I'd want to be at least fifty years younger.

Re: GB Divide - End to End gravel
This GBDivide could be a nice, if very challenging Lejog route, ridden very slowly over a month.
It seems to be about 50/50 gravel and road.

Re: GB Divide - End to End gravel
Briefly met and cycled with some young American cyclists doing this on my way back from Blaenafon to Brecon. I'd not heard of the route so looked it up when I got back. Route through the Beacons looks a bit dull to me and takes you up the Gap road which is hellishly cobbly on the way down these days. ( I usually fall off a few times on the way down my full suspension, and get home with bloody crusty elbows ! and say I'm not doing that again ) There are less strenuous options with better views.....but maybe the route is trying to be as rufty tufty as possibel? ......or test how good your kit is packed ?
