Stenhousemuir/Falkirk area

Hi all, I'm planning to stay in Larbert next week and I should have a couple of evenings where I will be able to go out for a ride (weather permitting). I will put my road bike in the back of the car. Does anyone have any suggestions for nice rides, 25 - 40 miles, ideally quiet(ish) roads in the area??

I'm probably too late, but hope you headed into the Kilsyth Hills and Fintry Hills or south beyond Falkirk there's quite a network of minor roads. You can even get to California!
