A24 car meets - event warning

From Denbies roundabout to Boxhill we have had our second car meet and more are planned. They are really crazy and spinning cars and heavy acceleration in amongst normal traffic and especially the roundabout at Boxhill where cyclist turn across the road to access the hill. Police pretty ineffective at stopping it because the cars are legal. Be careful as someone will be injured if this carries on.look on Carhuddle site to see the cars mixing with cyclists at Denbies. Surely the cops could do something if they wanted to, I bet many crimes are being committed

Not much police activity on the day, just watching with the odd chase which the hundreds of spectators loved. No mention of social distancing. Our hope is that it the event was filmed and tickets and fines sent out but it was a joke. Seems to be a big problem in the uk but I was not aware.
The comment was to make cyclists more aware and wary.
Local residents are making lots of noise but let us wait and see.
