Didn't the Naked Rambler do LEJOG in the buff?
Recently, a chap walked it in his underpants.

That was another Mick In his Speedos

Had a chat with her this morning near Kendal. Read her sailing books in late 70s, early 80s. Very impressive lady!

At the rate she's going then, she's done about 500miles since I saw her just over into Devon, and that was 3months ago.
Therefore as Edinburgh to JOG is about 250miles, she still at least six weeks to go.

She does too much chatting, and not enough walking!

She was spotted passing my road end one evening over a week ago so guessed she would be stopping at Beattock or Moffat. I was busy the next morning so didn’t get the bike out until the afternoon. I rode up to Crawford and there was no sign of her. Came back and crossed over to the BeefTub and came down to Moffat. No sign of her anywhere.
Learned the next day she’d be lounging and shopping in Moffat

Moffat.

Back in the 70s when we lived in Fife, we often drove down to Lancashire to stay over with friends and relations.
This was back in the days before the M74, so we were up and down the A74 once a month or so.

Often, on the way north, for a break, we used to "Come off at Moffat" ............. never forgotten the journeys or the infamous A74 dubbed Scotland's Killer Road.

She is hoping to reach Pitlochry today. After last night’s rain I hope there is no swimming involved.

Grief!
She might possibly be there for Christmas.
Hopefully she's taken her winter woolies ..................... let alone a swimming costume! :D
