I hope the person who was riding the bike comes forward quickly.

Appeal after pedestrian dies following collision with bicycle in Tower Hamlets
There'll be tarmac over, the white cliffs of Dover ...
Re: Appeal after pedestrian dies following collision with bicycle in Tower Hamlets
Yes agree, saw this yesterday on a PC news link pretty appalling.
If the bike is legal and not a high powered illegal e bike then any decent person would have stopped at the scene, however like the Dalston guy who had a reason to flee but was nabbed. In that case he was found Not Guilty and was lucky.

Why do people persistently describe the Dalston cyclist as fleeing? He staggered off after being assaulted and knocked from his bicycle, not being under any legal obligation to stay, and presumably not being in any condition to assist his assailant. When people are charged with being assaulted and then described as lucky to be found Not Guilty we are living in a very strange world.

Which Dalston cyclist was that? Thomas Hanlon or someone else?

Yes, Thomas Hanlon, subsequently acquitted of all charges, although being charged with being assaulted is bad enough.

Thanks... are you saying that Hanlon was assaulted?
