Daft as a brush?

Post by merseymouth »

My daughter sent this to me. No words to express the incredulity.

Who's Alex Sage?
Why does he have his name on the photo?

Is he someone who uses Photoshop?

I'd be inclined to move into the road to clear the cycle lane.

It is commonplace, the default, to obstruct the pavement with roadwork signs which are for the benefit of driver.
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?

It is so daft that it makes me wonder if it was set up specially for the photo, may moved from a more sensible location but I could be wrong.

Yes. Either on the road or in photo-editing.

Is there any reason to think that it's genuine?

It was photographed some time ago - and yes it was in Australia:

I'm not sure why anyone would think it was photoshopped - stupidity when it comes to cycle facilities is hardly a rare occurrence.

Actually I think this one is even dafter:

It could have been transmitting several messages of possible obstructions ahead and some clever ass decided to photo it on that particular one.
